Leslie Straniero

Leslie Straniero’s interest in the visual arts began in photojournalism classes at The Ohio State University where she earned a BA in journalism. In 2003, she received a BFA in painting with highest honors. She is currently a private student of Professor Harry Ahn of Andrews University. She has attended workshops at the Institute of Chicago/Oxbow as well as workshops given by Diane Tesler of Alexandria, VA. Leslie exhibits oil paintings throughout Michigan and Indiana as well as teaching painting and drawing in South Bend. She has won several awards at juried art competitions. Commissions are accepted.
